Overview
KIMS Health Wakra Dermatology and Cosmetology Department was designed by Mashal Architects under the direction of Ar. Ahmed Mashal to combine medical precision with patient-centered comfort. Neutral tones, warm accents, and thoughtful planning deliver a professional, calming environment that supports both staff efficiency and patient wellbeing.
The interiors employ a palette of soft neutrals paired with warm wood finishes and clean white surfaces. This combination creates a professional yet soothing environment, helping patients feel at ease. Reception and waiting areas are accented with bold red seating that ties to the KIMS Health brand identity, while consultation and treatment rooms are finished with minimalist detailing for clarity and functionality.
Lighting, circulation, and spatial planning were all designed to ensure comfort and privacy. From intuitive wayfinding in the corridors to discreet partitions in treatment rooms, the design prioritizes patient dignity while supporting efficient workflows for staff. The overall environment reflects the dual role of the department: highly clinical in standards yet welcoming in atmosphere.
